Barbara’s Recipe File
CHOCOLATE KRINKLES

˝ cup vegetable oil |
2 tsp. vanilla |

4 sq. (4oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
|
2 cups granulated sugar |
2 tsp. baking powder |
|
4 eggs |
˝ tsp. salt |
|
|
1 cup confectionery sugar |
Mix oil, chocolate, and sugar. Blend in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla; stir. Add flour, salt, and baking powder. Chill overnight. Drop teaspoons of dough in Confectionery sugar. Turn into a ball and place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Caution: Do not over bake. Yield 6 dozen.
