The Newcomers Creed

I will not curse the darkness in this dreary world, instead

I will light a little candle and pray that its glow will spread.

I will not blame my neighbor for his color, ways or creed,

But I will seek contentment in helping the ones in need.

I will not be an island considering my life replete,

I will try to share enrichment with everyone that I meet.

The Newcomers Club of Dover meets monthly from September through May, excluding December, on the third Thursday at various restaurants. NEWCOMERS CLUB is a social/charitable organization that supports activities at the Kent County Community School and the John S. Charlton School. Membership dues are $10.00 annually and $12.00 after June 30th.

This newsletter is published monthly and distributed at the luncheon meetings or mailed to homes. The deadline for articles is the first Monday following the Board meeting. Items can be mailed to Carole White, 1254 S. Farmview Drive, Dover, DE, 19904; or e-mailed to cdwassociates@comcast.net.
